Bio B&B La Fanciullaccia - Family room

Good air, cozy beds, a rich and quality breakfast, environmental sustainability, sociable cats, peace and relax; for now we can offer only this, but we are planning to improve ... On the hills of Tuscany, between Pisa and Volterra, in an old farmhouse we offer a large bedroom with private bathroom, made out from the wine-vat room no longer in use, with family furniture of the '30s. We offer breakfast and meals made with organic and biodynamic products, with the possibility of vegan meals. We offer our guests an informal welcome, the tranquility of the surrounding countryside, a way of life that respects the environment around us. There are bicycles, space-relax among the olive trees, we can make the pizzas in the wood-fire oven. We have also prepared some botanical itineraries (wild edible plants, aromatic herbs, vegetables synergic garden, orchard) that can be done alone or with a companion. We can be reached by bus line from Pontedera (where stop the trains attended Florence-Pisa); within an hour's drive away, we can reach some of the most important cities of art in Tuscany (Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano, Florence, Lucca) and other places of interest (Casciana Terme, Vicopisano, Buti). Our guests can freely use the garden and the other 7000 square meters of land of our crops. At our guests we propose to have breakfast with us, so we can exchange views, information, and create a contact that can also continue... The B&B is in a quiet rural area, near the village of Santopietro Belvedere but also a few meters from a long journey between the hills of Tuscany... The B&B is about 1 km from the bus stop to Santopietro Belvedere, which can be reached by bus from Pontedera, where stop the trains of Florence-Pisa line. The house has a private parking. To reach us from Pisa airport, take the train to Pontedera and from there the bus to Santopietro Belvedere; alternatively, we can pick you up at the airport, but for this we will ask you a refund... Our guests can take advantage of free educational courses that we set up, walking among herbs, ancient fruits, wild food-plants, olive trees...
