The drive to Katoomba via Bells Line of Road takes about an hour and takes in Bilpin and Mt Victoria Each season brings its own magic to Lavender House. In summer the cool sanctuary of this sheltered south-facing guesthouse creates a perfect retreat and in winter the electric fireplace and bundles of warm blankets will keep you cosy. Quiet surrounds paint a picturesque view that can be enjoyed all year round and incredible sunsets on the farm’s west side fill the evening skies with brilliant colour. Wake up to mist laying low in the valleys or gentle rain sweeping over the hills. Sit out on the porch with a cuppa and hear the bellbirds sing or visit the gentle alpacas grazing on the land.
