2 Private rooms Kingston/Surbiton

2 clean comfortable bedrooms in a turn of the century maisonette close to Kingston and Surbiton. My kids are away at university doing arty things and any available wall space is crammed with their art ! The rooms are one double bedroom approx 11 ft x 11 ft (3.35m x 3.35m) with a double bed ,wardrobe and desk. There is also a keyboard in this room (Yamaha Clavinova ) if you can play it you are welcome to use it ! The other room is approx 11 ft x 10 ft ( 3.35m x 3.05m) this has a single bed ,wardrobe and desk. There are a couple of guitars in this room though my son has taken the decent ones ! Both rooms have good wi fi connections. Clean towels and bed linen are always available. Cereal, tea and coffee for breakfast just help yourself ! Guests share the rest of the property with the host. There is one bathroom which has recently been refurbished a kitchen /living area with breakfast bar and use of the outside patio area. If guests smoke they are more then welcome to use this area. I am happy to help you during your stay in any way I can. I know the area (and London generally) very well and can advise you the best way to get anywhere. I work from home but I am out visiting clients and can be fairly flexible about checking in and out. The price is for two rooms for up to three people.(Yes I know its cheap !).This is a very well positioned property. It is 20 minutes walk from Kingston upon Thames, an ancient market town, but one of the biggest shopping centres in the London area with fantastic mix of shops, restaurants, clubs and pubs on the banks of the River Thames. It is also 20 minutes walk to Surbiton which has fast rail links to Waterloo,Clapham Junction and Wimbledon. Nearby are the Royal parks of Richmond and Bushy and closer still the magnificent palace of Henry VIII at Hampton Court. There really is a lot to see ! If you don't want to walk anywhere busses are available right outside the property to take you wherever you want. If you want to go into central London you can walk to Surbiton (20 minutes walk or 5 minutes on bus) and get a fast train to Waterloo(15minutes)
