Now it's not working anymore. Old and new. Iron and wood. Roughly and shiny material. Cold and warm. Building has an inner backyard. It was connecting bakery, warehouse and shop. Houses are close to each other, they're made mostly of stone and some are beautifully decorated. Everything you need is on the reach: shops, restaurants, bars, post office, bus station, police station, tourist office, museum, church, park, sports center and other agencies. A very popular but not crowdy hiking path leads to the two rivers: the Soča and the Tolminka. All the festivals (Metaldays, Punk Rock Holiday, Soča outdoor festival, Overjam Reggae Festival and others) are held there. In Tolmin, there's a bus station which is very close to our apartment - only 5 minutes away by foot. The most frequent means of transport for tourists is a car or a van. Motorcyclists and cyclists are also welcome. These are the best options for moving around freely and exploring the country.
