Beautifully renovated stone country house, in a rural hamlet, close to many historic villages. Gorgeous outdoor garden area, under ancient trees, 12 metre heated pool. Peaceful open rural views. A gorgeous stone country house on 2000m2. Lunch under the ancient walnut trees, swim in the 12m pool, pick fruit from the fruit trees (if you're in season!). In cooler weather, relax by one of the gorgeous fireplaces. The bedrooms are all upstairs. In the main house, there are 4 bedrooms, with 2 bathrooms. There is a 5th bedroom and bathroom in the separate apartment cottage. There are 2 lounges in the main house, each with fabulous fireplaces, as well as another lounge area in the separate apartment, all on the ground floor Our wonderful neighbour will greet you. We have a folder in the house of various suggested local activities. We are very happy to speak or email in the lead up to your stay, to help with advice on how to get to the house, what to do. Our house is in a little hamlet of about 12 houses. It's about 2km from the nearest town - Les Quatre Routes du Lot - with bakery and supermarket. There are so many beautiful well known and less well known villages and sites in the area. We are right in the corner of the Lot, Correze and Dorgogne departments. You really need a car as the public transport is very limited - unless of course you want to spend you whole time by the pool or by the fire enjoying the house itself!
