Casa de Olival is a self catering Licensed Accommodation set in a tranquil Olive grove yet 2 kms outside of the Market Town of Ansiao, Central Portugal - with all the usual amenities. 2 Bedrooms sleeps 2-4 with large airy open plan kitchen / lounge. Use of 10 x 5 swimming pool all year round (Heated 28 degrees 1st April - 31st Ocotober) 40 mins from the beaches at Figueira da Foz and Silver Coast.Or closer to home fabulous picturesqe River beaches at stunning locations. Lively Festas throughout the summer and a good selection of restaurants and bars. Great place for your holiday whether it is a peaceful relaxing time just lounging by the pool, or discovering the historic Templar Towns and countryside within this diverse area. The old rural way of life can still be seen and the Portuguese friendliness is second to none. The University city of Coimbra on the river Mondego is close by as are the Templar Town of Tomar and the Pilgrim Town of Fatima, to name but a few. Located 2 kms from the weekly market town of Ansiao with large supermaket, banks and choice of general shops. Fully equipped Kitchen and dining area with everything you would need. 1st bedroom with Double bed and fitted wardrobe 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds and fitted wardrobe Hairdryer,Iron and Board. Large Shower room and toilet. Additional shower and toilet available just outside for sole use of Holiday home. Large selection of books, DVD's, English Satellite TV and Portuguese cable. Large patio area with 10x5 swimming pool. Bread oven for the more adventurous who want to have a go at making their own pizzas. Set in 1 acre of Olive grove, very peaceful with good walks in the immediate area. 40 kms to nearest beach on the Silvercoast - or beautiful river beaches closer to home for you to discover. Ansiao and the area has plenty of Festas in the summer with a good choice of bars and restaurants. The university Town of Coimbra is 30 minutes drive with good shopping and a beautiful City to explore on the river. You also have historic Tomar, Coninbriga and Dornes to explore to name just a few sites. Stunning scenary where-ever you go Car is highly recommended for getting about. Please note the owners Tania and Steve live on the site with their one dog - privacy will be respected at all times - if you need a guide or just general information for what the area has to offer then we are always on hand to help if needed. The owners reserve the right to use the pool when guests are not. The rental house has it own private vehicle access. The house has private terraces, garden space and out door dining area with a BBQ The swimming pool and area are shared with myself and Husband but we respect your holiday and only use the pool when you are not ! We are situated on the edge of a small hamlet just down a county lane. Our immediate neighbours are 2 fields away and we are surrounded by woods and farmland. Please be aware we have one friendly dog that likes to say hello !
