Welcome to Unk's House! The only Home-stay on Panglao! We provide home style, family friendly accommodation, only a short 5 minute (500 meters to Alona Beach! NOT ON THE BEACH) Newly renovated rooms and bathrooms, an outdoor eating area and share kitchen, and all this on the doorstep to beautiful Bohol and our amazing islands. If you need anything just ask! Our guests are family and we are happy to have you stay for a while. Free breakfast (6am to 9 am) before your days adventures. ALONA ROOM NO SMOKING AC, TV with CABLE RATE IS FOR 2 SHARE BATHROOM NO PARKING Lounge area has Large sofa, dining table and fans only Outdoor area has plenty of seating and lounge areas and fans LESS THAN 10 MINUTES WALK TO ALONA BEACH - No Direct Access (400Meters) We don't have a pool! We don't have a restaurant! Our Home is now your home! Please be aware that our family and other guests may use some parts of the house. The path to our house is a bit of an adventure. We are off the main road, along a path and through someones yard. Its worth the trip as our little oasis is quite and clean. The house itself has: *Nice big living and dining area. *Brand new outdoor kitchen for you to use. Guests must pay for gas and power. *Brand new bathrooms with hot water. Extra bathrooms outside in the common area *AC in all bedrooms and AC and fans in living areas. *Big Screen TV and cable access in the outdoor area, feel free to watch it anytime. Unless our little man Jarick has beat you to it! He loves his Wii *Internet is available. Its a little slow sometimes when too many people are on. We have limited its usage to be fair to our guests *Beautiful outdoor area to enjoy with guest huts. * There may be some construction during 8am and 5pm for maintenance and upkeep **Provided breakfast is simple and local: Coffee and tea, juice and water, toast, an egg each and a piece fruit. FREE BREAKFAST IS ONLY AVAILABLE 6am to 9am. After that you will be charged accordingly ** **Cosy and peaceful for one or two people or we can organise for families, larger groups, single room, multiple rooms and whole house bookings when available. Just contact us for availability and room rates.** This is our home and you are welcome. You have access to your room and common areas. Rooms have locks and wardrobes. Lockers are available - just bring a lock Please don't go into others rooms. Kitchen has basic amenities. Please ask Lorena to help you with the Washing machine - charges apply for use of washing machine Front door is locked at 10pm. Please make arrangements if you will be coming home late. The path to our house is about 100 meters walk from the main road, well lit and recently upgraded, but it can still be a little muddy during heavy rain Lorena will be there to offer help and advise A short walk to the main road and you are greeted with Restaurants and bars already! Try the local BBQ for a special treat! The lechon manok is first class (BBQ Chicken). Plenty of fresh fruit around and you can always find a snack. A good tip is to go into the Panglao Markets for fruit. Its just 10 minutes up the road and the choice is very good. There's plenty to do around as well. Barely 50 meters down the road is a cheap motor bike hire place 500 php per day and it gets cheaper the longer you keep the bike. You can get transport from the door on most days as bikes and jeepneys stop to offer you a ride. You really don't need it though as the beach is barely 10 minutes walk. Just turn right at the end of our path and right again to Bohol divers resort. Then you get to the beach! Follow it along to see all of the other bars and restaurants. You cant get lost! Just ask about tours etc. We can organise a driver for you anytime. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. You do have to travel through someones front yard to get to us which makes it a bit of an adventure! The road can be a bit muddy but is only about 100 meters. Neighbours have dogs behind a fence and they will greet you as you come in. Please see description for directions. Please see description.
