Ideally located, very peaceful, an excellent address for a relaxing holiday. large terraces oriented to the south and west in front and around the house with a superb view on the village of Costa, the valley, the sea in front and the mountains in the back, the perfect spot to enjoy a cool glass of wine at sunset or look at the stars and the milky way over the house at night... it's possible to do walks and or bike tours starting from the house, the most beautiful sand, pebble or rock-beaches are within a radius of 12 km. the house is fully equipped with al the necessities to make your stay a pleasure. 2 bedrooms, bathroom and toilet separate (French style), a well equipped kitchen, living/dining room with terrace-doors that open to the terrace under the apple tree and it's superb view all the way to the sea. there are small groceries, butchers and bakers in the neighbour-villages, a bar-restaurant is just next-door. supermarkets and other stores are in L’Île Rousse, a pleasant harbour-town at 12km. all further information can also be consulted on our casa-solea com whole appartment and the terraces above and in front of the apartment i can help you with information on all sports and leisure activities, sightseeing and walking-, bike- or car- tours in the area, the region and the island. there's a book with all sorts of information in the house and also maps and itineraries are available for our guests. the house is on top of Costa, the smallest village of Balagne at 320 meter above sealevel. you are literally on top of the village life and activities. there are many paths that take you walking around the area, down the Regino valley till the seaside at Lozari beach or up to the Col de Bataille pass and the next valley of Giussani. you need a car move around here unless you're happy with the train passing twice a day and you can adapt your activities to this schedule. you can reach the nearest station in a half hour walk down below the village. arrival time is after 5 PM, departure time is before 10 AM. we ask a caution of 100 € at your arrival.
