Relax and soothe in nature on our Green Paradise for a Luxury Farmstay. If you are after a unique country escape, our authentic 1930s train carriages will take you to your Northern Rivers Region Journey. Praised for its privacy, unique environment and originality, Jerrapark offers all you need for your special event, with even catering and party options available. Our hideaway is the ideal venue for group gatherings (friends, retreats, workshops, corporate, celebration) for a weekend or more. If you are after an unusual and unique hideaway, Jerrapark may be the place for you. Our train carriages are comprised of 4 cabins, each with 2 “couchettes” (small single beds), which can be converted into one double bed. The Train Carriages can therefore accommodate up to 8 persons (or 4 couples). It is an ideal place for group gatherings, retreats, seminars, workshops, clinics, etc... A large covered deck shelters a modern and fully equipped open kitchen and tables next to the fireplace. The place has 2 showers and 2 toilets with all you need for your stay. On the large deck live a restful and private daybed with coffee table for those who like to chill out around a cuppa, and a sofa bed in front of the fire place. The deck can also host your private party, your workshop or retreat, depending what you have in mind. A little further down, an inviting open fire pit becomes a convivial place to enjoy a glass of wine and stargaze in the evening with your family and friends. Jerrapark is nestled in the heart of the beautiful Northern Rivers Caldera, surrounded by the lush nature of the Border Ranges and Mt Warning National Parks. It is an ideal base camp for those who want to discover the Rainbow Region, treck in the National Park and/or celebrate a private event. Our 34 acres property is home to several fruitful orchards, a gorgeous little waterfall tightly nestled in beautiful Palm Valley, 2 dams including one swimming dam, and numerous walking trails through our luxuriant little valleys, which you will enjoy to discover! Guests can park in front of the train carriages. On your arrival, we will welcome you and take you through the functionalities of the place. Should you need further assistance, we are never too far away. If you plan a private event and need extra services such as Breakfast/dinner catering, drop off & pick up service or private parties with DJ/Music, lights & fancy dresses, we can arrange this for you for an extra fee providing you tell us what you need in advance. Jerrapark is just far enough away from towns and cities to feel remote and wild. Some guests have remarked half jokingly that as they enter the property it feels a bit like Jurassic Park. A section of the farm has been preserved as rainforest, where a huge variety of trees, including Palms and Eucalypts stand over boulder strewn creeks that sometimes flood with roaring force. The wildlife is abundant, and you might be lucky to spot one of our elusive koalas family... You also can hike up to the Border Ranges NP, only 6k away from Jerra Park.
