Luxury Country House

The newly built country house embedded in National Parkland offers exclusive accommodation with the latest advances in technology, such as intelligent controlled housing, under floor heating, heated pool and Wi-Fi. Surrounded by oaks & carobs, the House offers the peace and quietness that you need to completely disconnect from the outer world. The house can host up to 18 adults plus 3 children/ teens and 2 babies(total 23 persons) La Posada Romana sits in 7 acres of land surrounded by mature trees in a National Parkland. The countryside is idyllic for relaxing, walking and riding. The villa is located 2 km from Gaucín, one the famous White Villages of Andalusia. In this town you may find supermarkets, doctors, banks, post office and many restaurants and tapas bars. Within easy reach are several beaches and local golf courses such as Valderrama. Sotogrande, famous for Polo grounds and night life is only 20 min. away. Marbella with shops, restaurants and night life in Puerto Banús is within a 50 min drive. Tarifa with amazing beaches and world known for kite surfing is only 60 min away, where you could also take a 35 min ferry ride to visit Marroco and the port of Tangier, or take a boat to whale watch. More historical towns can be visited such as Ronda, with the oldest bullring in Spain, Jerez or Sevilla, within an easy car journey. Gibraltar airport at 60 min drive and Malaga Airport only 80. Other Activities: BIRD WATCHING Golf: There are many first class golf courses within easy car drive. Renowned golf courses such as Valderama in Sotogrande, Finca el Cortesin and La Cañada in San Roque are only 35 min away. Ski: In winter, Sierra Nevada, with more than 100 km of snow slopes, lovely bars and restaurants, and easy accessed by car is only 300 km away. The whole house is open to use by the guest, except the areas used for the engines boilers pumps etc are situated. The indoor garage is used as garage for our tractor and golf car, therefore it isn't open to the guests. There is plenty of parking outside for the clients to park several cars. The Finca is enclosed by a fence all around therefore it is safe for your pets when they are loose in the grounds, there’s an automatic gate that closes the property you get a fob with the property keys to get in and out of the estate. The owner is available to help the guest if needed. Diego the Manager is usually around the finca cutting the grass or looking after the garde, you can ask him for help to change a tyre or any other chore that might be necessary and Ester the housekeeper is available on request to do extra cleaning if needed. The house is situated in the countryside, in a magnificent and peaceful spot. The house is isolated but close to the village, the distance to the village is 2 Km through a dirt track perfectly navegable for all vehicles except very low cars such as Ferraris...Should you have no experience in driving through Spanish country roads, you should consider to hire a SUV or a 4x4. There are some nice restaurants in the village 10 minutes away, and there are many lovely places to visit such as wine yards, monumental towns such as Ronda and Seville, and even golf courses near by. The beaches are 25 minutes away by car. You must rent a car to get to the house. Should you rather stay at the villa and do not drive, I can organice a shuttle service to pick you up from the airport. You can take nice walks from the house to the village and/or around the area. SWIMMING POOL HEATING Should the guests wish to enjoy the swimming pool all year round, there's a fee of 200€ To pay in cash on arrival please, to cover the electricity cost. I need a week's notice to heat the pool up since it is the time it takes to reach the desired temperature of 28º-29º.
