Guest suite - 2 bedrooms, shower room, kitchenette

Your space consists of a large double bedroom/sitting room plus single bedroom, shower room and kitchenette* (See notes below). Private entrance and double doors onto the patio/garden. The house is in Tamerton Foliot, a quiet village on the north-west fringe of Plymouth about 10 minutes by car from Derriford, 15-20 mins to Plymouth centre. The property is detached and is at the end of a cul-de-sac with private drive and ample parking. There are countryside views from the rear of the house. NB we may occasionally require access to the washing machine and tumble dryer. * Please note: The kitchenette is not a fully equipped family kitchen. We provide a kettle, toaster, combination microwave, air fryer and a single induction hob. So its suitable for cooking hot snacks and simple meals. All cookware and utensils, plates, cups, cutlery etc are also provided. The suite is in what is effectively an annex so it has its own private front door on the rear of the house and patio doors leading into the garden/patio. As and when required - sometimes guests like their own space to wind down etc after travelling but one of us is always on hand if needed. In the village of Tamerton Foliot there are 3 pubs, a village shop which is also a post office and two takeaways within a 10 minute walk. The shop is open from 6:30am to 9:30pm . Dartmoor National Park is only around a 25-30 minutes walk or a 10-15 minute drive and there are numerous local countryside walks within a few minutes of the house Plymouth city centre, inc the Barbican, The Hoe, Plymouth Museum & Art Gallery, the aquarium and Plymouth University are a 15-20 minute drive or 35-45 minute bus ride away. The bus stop is less than 5 minutes walk from the house. The house a 5 minute walk from the bus stop. If you are driving, parking is easy as we have a private drive with plenty of space for several cars. We have a very friendly dog on the premises, so please be careful to shut doors and gates etc when arriving and leaving. If you need to sleep another person (max 4) please contact us before booking.
