This home is created with nature in mind so the outside lives inside and, visa versa. Wooden elements and natural fabrics add to the ambience. The interior is minimalistic by design. High ceilings give a wonderful sense of space. There are 3 completely different spaces to relax in! A lounge with views, a cosy patio corner plus a huge comfy patio as well. The garden houses a lovely braai area too. Access to the lake via a gate from the garden as well. "Tweety" the pedalo is close by. Parking inside for two vehicles by arrangement . Beaches 5 min away by car as well as mountain hiking areas. Gorgeous quaint coastline to meander along in olde worlde style plus a fishing Harbour. Superb restaurants,bars close by. Extremely safe and house 100% secure. We sleep with our patio doors open! The entire house is accessible only to you. There is a seperate studio that is completely private and you will not even know this space exists other than a door in the courtyard to the right that provides access. The house was architecturally designed to ensure that the house is stand alone in every sense. The flatlet at the front courtyard too, is private to the house and has no shared common space other than the entrance gate. The apartment houses the host occasionally, who is thus available for all your needs. This varies from stay to stay. In some instances I am in the same town or in the guest apartment of the house (totally separate and independent) - only driveway access is shared - depending on the booking, but if not have a co-host who is my personal assistant on hand as well as neighbour two doors away. I am happy to advise and meet guests as well and give advise and ideas on what to do and see. I can also collect you at the airport and drop you off by prior arrangement. I can also take you on tours and do your shopping should you require same. In my previous notes this will be apparent but other good reasons are that inside the Marina I feel completely safe and often leave my sliding doors open when I go out. I also walk my dog at night. There are parks in the Marina which are lovely for walking dogs as well and for smaller children to play in. The views at home and in and around the Marina are spectacular and the sunsets and sunrises very beautiful too. My home is lends itself to relaxation. The garden is spacious with loads of grass and a perfect play area for pets or children. Parking is inside the property or on the verge depending on the number of vehicles. Best to hire a car. Alternatively Uber is also a good reliable service. There is a well point that and auto irrigation for the garden. There is a key to the gate at the bottom of the garden which will give you access to the water. There is also an island on the Marina and this is accessed at the Park island entrance, at the bottom of that same road. The garden gate has a lock key stored in house . A beautiful walk in nature awaits you, lots of bird life and magnificent views, truly spectacular. Muizenberg beach is a five min trip by car and extremely popular for surfing, windsurfing, paddle skiing, walks and some great eateries too, not forgetting twirly ice creams with a flake! St James and Kalk Bay are a little further along and olde worlde. If you did not know you were in South Africa you would think you were on the Amalphi coast in Italy! I have a Harley Davidson dyna superglide which can be rented provided you are a very experienced motorcyclist and have ridden a Harley.
