Immerse yourself into a wonderfully restored Farmhouse in the heart of Lanzarote. Elegantly restored 200 year old Farmhouse is perfect for getaways to the countryside in the centre of the island. Finca Tahona waits for you, making your stay perfect! Finca Tahona is a 2 unit property; the Farmhouse and the Casita. Separate units are rentable together or individually. Both properties are welcome to use the solar-heated swimming pool and jacuzzi located in the abundant garden. The private farmhouse is in the countryside of Tiagua but easily accessible and near iconic Lanzarote landmarks. The Farmhouse accommodates 4 people in 2 bedrooms. The library can accommodate 2 extra people on the days beds (Bathroom located nearby). Rooms are; a Master bedroom (Super-King Bed) with en-suite, which includes a cast iron Victorian bath and His and Hers hand basins, a Twin bedroom also with en-suite, which includes a powerful shower. The Farmhouse itself contains a fully equipped kitchen, a grand hall/dining area, The Farmhouse also has a relaxing library which looks out on to the fully grown garden. It also has an additional bathroom, located near the living room. The living room has log burner and internet TV. Enjoy summer evenings, dining 'Al Fresco' on the patio overlooking the night lit pool under the stars. The garden has plenty of space to 'escape' and relax under the Gazebo (Chill-Out Zone) which is elevated above the pool. The swimming pool is on a lower level, making it completely secluded. Pool area includes, sunbeds, umbrellas and chairs and a outside shower. A Welcome Package is provided upon your arrival at Finca Tahona. There's no need for air conditioning as the high ceilings and thick walls means inside will always be cool and fresh. Very friendly owner, Julia, will be on hand around the clock and lives in close vicinity. A fantastic supermarket within a 2 minute walk. Two excellent restaurants: an Italian directly opposite the farmhouse across the road and a Canarian down the road. Excellent for sports people with fantastic hiking/mountain bike routes on the 'Campo' which includes views of the stunning 'El Risco' cliffs in Famara. Only a 15 minute drive to Famara Beach, for some phenomenal waves to surf on or to stroll along the kilometres of sand! Finca Tahona is located in the centre of the island, making it easy to get to from all different angles of the island! A bus-stop is located next to the supermarket, but Car-Rental is recommended upon arrival at the airport. Parking is not an issue at Finca Tahona, with a large space to accommodate all types of cars! We are near 'Monumento del Campesino' in San Bartolome and the National Park 'Timanfaya'. There's lots to see in Lanzarote, but if you just want to relax by the pool with a good book, Finca Tahona is just for you! If you are large family, it is recommended to rent both properties; the Casita and the Farmhouse.
