Rooms of GRANDeur - Lower Quarters
Lovely private rooms in an older Craftsman house in the middle of town. One block from the University, walking distance to downtown and UW's War Memorial Stadium and Arena Auditorium, this house is ideally located. Relax in the inviting rooms of the Lower Quarters with their distinct characteristics: The Peloton (bicycling passion) and La Paz (artifacts of the Bolivian City). Rooms of GRANDeur are separated into the lower and upper quarters, each area having its own private entrance with keypad lock. You will receive a custom 4-digit code before arrival for easy access as you come and go. Each of the quarters offers two bedrooms, its own coffee/tea station and unique sitting area. TV is only available in upper quarters. As guests of the Lower Quarters, you will be able to access your individual bedroom, the bathroom, and the sitting area with coffee/tea station. As your host and fellow housemate, I will be readily available and eager to assist you, unless I am out for a run, a bike, a ski, a hike, a climb ---just enjoying the outdoors. Located in the "historic" tree area, you will experience our beautiful seasons reflected through our mighty cottonwoods with the red and gold leaves of Autumn, the white limbs of Winter, and the vibrant green canopies of Summer. Just minutes walk to the county library, Ivinson Mansion, Turtle Rock Cafe, Niko Sushi & Steak, Blooming Lemon Medical Spa, and UW campus, Rooms of GRANDeur is an excellent starting point from which to begin your visit to Laramie. Campus Commuter bus is minutes away, providing shuttle service eastbound and westbound from 9th Street to 30th Street every 10 minutes from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday-Friday. As there is no private parking, city permit parking is available from 6:00AM-6:00PM, M-F. Owner will provide parking passes. No permit required at night or on weekends. Open parking along Grand Ave. every day.
