Situated in a tiny hamlet within walking distance (1 mile) of picturesque Clovelly steeped in history this cosy cottage acts as an ideal base for exploring this wonderful scenic area. This 19th Century cottage has been tastefully renovated to a high standard and keeps it's traditional characteristics - wood burning stove and wooden beamed ceilings. PEACE OF MIND / CLEANLINESS: "No worries / be happy" .... and relax - You are important to us ! We want all our guests to relax and enjoy their time without having to worry. I therefore strive to ensure that my place is safe as possible for all during these troubled times. Extra time and care is spent upon the preparation for your stay at a very high standard using professional equipment. E.g. a fogging machine is used which sprays antiviral disinfectant into the air in each room throughout the cottage prior to your arrival. For your kind information I also follow Airbnb’s five-step enhanced cleaning process, which is based on Airbnb’s cleaning handbook that was developed in partnership with experts. To summarise: - Prepare and ventilate the cottage - Clean and re wash dishes etc at the highest settings possible - Sanitise with approved disinfectants - Check (I personally check off each room prior to your stay) - Reset Here are a few highlights from the protocol: I sanitise high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and professional disinfectants I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I refer to cleaning checklists to thoroughly clean each room I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines.
