Croftside Cottage is a cosy, quiet & characterful converted barn with its own enclosed garden on the edge of Staveley village. Situated at the head of a private lane forming part of a small farmstead of six properties with The Dales Way going through the yard & giving access to numerous walks from the door. It retains lots of original character with high ceilings the Cottage was renovated in 2017 & comprises of two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a downstairs toilet, a new kitchen & a log burning stove. The master en-suite bedroom has a balcony with views over to the Howgill hills. We are also pet friendly. All of the property is yours for the duration of your stay. Sue is available during your stay should you require any assistance. Local amenities: The Mill Yard houses Hawkshead Brewery & beer hall, Wilfs cafe, More bakery & Wheelbase Cycle-store as well as cafes, butchers, post office, chemist & The Eagle & Child pub all are dog friendly. Staveley is an ideal base to explore the Lake District. The village has good public transport with a regular bus service to Kendal, Windermere, Ambleside & Keswick, there is a train stop linking to Windermere & connecting to the main west coast line at Oxenholme. The cottage has one parking space only, other vehicles can be parked on the grass verge on Crook Road. Pleas note 4 occupants only the occupancy includes infants and babies.
