Our Inn is a national historical mansion built for Charles Cheney in the early 1800s. Was renovated in the 1870 by Charles Cheney son Frank after he inherited the mansion after his fathers passing. Frank was very good friends with Mark Twain. Frank modeled his renovations after Mark Twains mansion in Hartford. We are within walking distance to downtown Manchester. We have a variety of restaurants. There is a brewery that is a short walk down the back driveway. The Charles Cheney Inn is right on the Connecticut transit bus transportation.
