The 2hr Steckborn loop trail, paths through fields and forests, and the bike path around Lake Constance are only minutes away. Steckborn offers a beautiful promenade along the lake and invites guests to explore its quaint alleys and old timber-framed homes. A special treat is the ferry boat dock where the Untersee ships dock several times a day on their cruise across the lake between the German and Swiss borders. Steckborn is easily accessible by car, train, bus, ship, and bicycle. The train station and bus stops are only minutes away from the house. Steckborn is approximately 50 minutes driving distance from Zurich Airport, 30 minutes from Constance, Germany, and 20 minutes from the famous, medieval Stein am Rhein. Very popular in the warm season are boat rides on the lake, ranging from an hour ride to a half or full-day.
