Luxury gites in beautiful, quiet rural surroundings converted in 2018. Spacious with modern facilities. Private terraces with seating & BBQ per gite opening onto large gardens with 10m x 5m in ground pool. On the Loire/Vienne border near Futuroscope, Loire Valley Chateaux, Saumur & Chinon vineyards & historic towns of Poitiers, Tours & Richelieu. The character cottages have historic interest such as stone floors, oak beams, indoor well with safety glass, vaulted ceilings & lime washed walls. La Maison du Puits has two first floor bedrooms with wardrobes and one with en suite shower room and extra large bed, bedroom 2 has three single beds. On the ground floor there is a further bedroom with an extra large bed, kitchen/dining room with covered well, sitting room with comfortable sofas and a television with french and english channels available and a bathroom off the main stone staircase. Outside is an attractive terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. Bed linen and towels are included in this rental. Le Pressoir has two first floor bedrooms with walk in wardrobes and shower room, the master bedroom has an extra large bed and the other is a twin room. Bed linen and towels are included in this rental. Downstairs is a large open plan living space with sitting area with comfortable sofas and television with french and english channels available, dining area and fully equipped kitchen area. Outside is an attractive terrace with garden furniture and BBQ. All space within the gites are available to guests. Each gite has it's own lockable front door and is private for the renters sole use. We have a communal games room with pool table, football table, darts board, dressing up, children's toys etc. There are also communal gardens with swimming pool and undercover parking available to all guests. We have two large table and chairs for all guests to dine together either outside undercover or inside, suitable for all times of the year. Mark and Sam live on site and can help to answer any questions you may have on the area or help to direct you towards the best attractions and restaurants locally. We speak English but are both learning to speak French. Set in a quiet rural hamlet within 2 miles from a town with a restaurant, bakers, butchers, convenience store, tourist office, bank, pharmacy etc. The nearby medieval towns of Richelieu, Chinon, Poitiers, Tours and Saumur offer excellent entertainment including chateaux, wine tours, fine dining, zoos, shopping, golf and the amusement parks of Futuroscope and Puy de Fou. We are in a beautiful part of the french countryside with lots of fantastic walking or cycling on the doorstep but with the advantages of a small town approximately 2 miles away. There is a third gite on the site which has three bedrooms.
