Centrally located in the heart of Otocac, just across the city park, church and the local market, this beautiful loft apartment offers all the conveniences a guest may need. The apartment has two bedrooms, each with a king bed for a regular stay of 4 people. It can additionally accommodate 2 more persons in the living space. It features fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with a shower and a big open living space with original brick wall and wood beams. The apartment is completely newly refurbished. The furniture, including kitchen, is either made or restored by local craftsmen. Wifi and AC included, as well as parking in the front yard. Guest are welcome to use bicycles, including with a child seat, and a trampoline. The apartment is close to river Gacka (15 minute walk), which offers great opportunity for fly fishing and kayaking, including night tours on the river. The surrounding area is also a great spot for birdwatching and features trails that can be explored with either bikes or quads that can be rented nearby. Last, but not least, Otocac is a jumping point for two Croatia’s National Parks nearby - the Northern Velebit and the Plitvice Lakes, the later being one of the most visited tourist attractions in this part of Europe and part of the UNESCO list of world natural heritage. Make sure also not to miss a unique Kuterevo bear sanctuary nestled on the slopes of a nearby Velebit mountain.
