Niko and Anna welcome you to our village home. Framed by the stunning backdrop of the Sitia mountains and set on an acre of cultivated gardens our modern 90sq. m. house recently refurbished to the highest standard offers 2 bedrooms, one with king size bed and one with two singles, a large bathroom with walk in shower, open plan sitting/dining room and separate kitchen. All rooms have access to a wraparound patio affording panoramic views of both mountains and sea and easy access to the gardens. We will greet guests with the key and show around the house. We are always happy to provide information on local amenities and services. With private parking the house is ideally located 200m from the centre of the village where guests will find supermarkets, doctor's surgery, pharmacy, bakery, patisserie, cafe bars and beachfront tavernas serving fresh fish, grilled meats and Cretan dishes made from locally sourced produce and olive oil. The village beach, pictured, is a 5 minute walk away and in summer is serviced with sunbeds and umbrellas. There are numerous other secluded coves and long beaches scattered along the coastline for you to explore. Additionally for those interested in nature and walking the surrounding area offers many beautiful trails and gorges. Guides can be organised. 2km from Makrgialos, 25k from Ierapetra and 40k from Sitia International Airport, Koutsouras is an undiscovered gem and the perfect base for your exploration of this unspoilt area of South East Crete.
