A converted retro shop, you'll feel relaxed in this light and tranquil open space. Large windows that look out onto a green garden where you might like to enjoy your meals or a drink in the sunshine. We want you to enjoy your stay at 'The Corner Store', whether it be for pleasure, to visit the wineries at McLaren Vale just a 25min drive away, studying at Flinders Uni for a course or to be close to the Flinders Hospital for treatment or visiting family and friends. A block of retro shops from 1950's we have converted all the shops into a large family home. As we had lots of extra space we divided our home and created "The Corner Store". The kitchen is fully equipped. You have access to a range of things to make your stay easier, a microwave, small convection oven with hot plates and a large fridge, washing machine, clothes lines, iron and hair dryer to name a few. There is a private outdoor space to enjoy your meals or the sunshine. We will supply tea & coffee. You'll have a car space, your own private entrance. 'The Corner Store' has a private yard with an outdoor setting. As hosts we live next door and can be available on request. We want you to have a private stay and so won't bother you unless requested during your stay. We have a little one and so are sometimes unavailable but if you message us we will assist as soon as possible. If we are away family members will attend to your needs. The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful. There are many parks that are in close walking distance from the house with playgrounds at each of them. It is safe to walk around. 'The Corner Store' is a 20minute drive to the CBD, 25 minutes to the wine region McLaren Vale, 10minute drive to the beach, 5minute walk to the shops, 5minute drive to Flinders University, 5 minute drive to Flinders Hospital, 5-10 minute walk to multiple bus stops. Its just a 5 minute walk to a (voted BEST) supermarket in SA and 2 minutes walk to a super cute local family owned cafe with great coffee. We have 1 off street park for guests, but buses are just as easy to catch as well. If you're catching a taxi/uber from the airport it will cost approximately $20 -30 depending on the time / traffic. The bus from the airport is do-able but you will need to interchange in town and may take a little while.
