State of the art 2 room appartment in a new building, within walking distance from the iconic Peles castle. A peaceful retreat from the city, which can host up to 4. High level of security, splendid overlook onto the mountains, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom: all is designed to be your home far from home, for a weekend or a week far from the hectic cities. This cozy 56 sqm appartment is a holiday residence, designed to meet the requirements of comfort loving travelers. The appartment is located on the slopes within short walking distance from the Peles royal castle, which you can visit. Arts, sports, splendid nature and wildlife, cuisine & nigtclubs are part of the Sinaia landscape. This new building has been built in 2005 and you have a triple security lock access (entrance door, hall door, appartment door). All housing appliances are state of the art and you have plenty of room for sleeping in a large bed, sipping a coffee in design armchairs, cooking in a fully equipped open space kitchen, dining around a confortable table or working on your laptop in the living room, wathcing TV on a new flat set. The terrace opens through a bow window towards the mountains in a wonderful overlook. Out of the city, you shall enjoy a peaceful retreat, but can walk to Peles or the city centre. There are plenty of restaurants in the neighbourhood. Visitors have full access to the appartment. They can use the facilities without restrictions, but with due care. There is everything you need for cooking, including trays, plates, dishes, cups and glasses, also essential grocery products such as sugar, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, coffee, tea. The fridge is vast. The bathroom is fully equipped with essential quality products. Please mind to switch off the heating upon departure. As I do not live in Sinaia, most often I shall not be able to welcome you in person. Nevertheless, I make myself available to give you in advance all needed info. I stay in touch via e-mail and phone. There is a mobile internet device that you can use on your tablet or laptop to stay connected. Tourist brochures in Romanian and English are provided in the appartment and I can advise you, upon request, on the nicest restaurants, pubs and attractions in the area. Sinaia is the most famous winter resort in Romania and you can enjoy the ski slopes or hiking, but it is also a great place for culture, with Peles and Pelisor museums, the monastery which was a spiritual centre where many scholars lived, with the composer George Enescu's memorial house or the casino turned into a cultural and conference centre. The Telegondola to the slopes is 2,5 km away. There is free parking in the street in front of the building. Also, there is public transportation by bus to Sinaia centre (route 2) and the closest stop is Piata Foisor, 500 m from the building. As I do not live in Sinaia, most often I shall not be able to welcome you in person. Nevertheless, I make myself available to give you in advance all needed info. One can reach Sinaia by road or by railroad (130 km from Bucharest). I can arrange for a taxi to meet you at the station and take you to the appartment for the normal fee in Sinaia by the meter (around 20 RON with a tip, which is about 4 EUR), and the same for your departure.
