Comfortable, quiet and private loft bedroom with its own en-suite bathroom. The room has a super-king bed & is equipped with a kettle, toaster, microwave, mini-fridge, tea/coffee and fresh milk. Breakfast is provided in the room for your first morning. Occasionally guests can use the open-plan dining area to eat meals, please enquire for availability when booking. Visitors are also free to find a spot in the garden to drink, eat or relax. The large loft room and private bathroom occupy the top floor and they are for your sole use. The bathroom is down two steps and one step across a small landing from the bedroom. There are locks on both doors. The curtains and blind are both blackout. The French doors open inward, with a glass Juliet balcony, allowing lovely tree-top views of the garden and river. To access the loft you need to climb two flights of stairs from our main hallway. We always leave fresh milk and juice, fruit and a full selection of morning goods for to you enjoy breakfast in bed. We also provide a simple selection of pantry goods (cheese, biscuits, soups etc) enough for a light supper. Or there are numerous options on Bridge Road for a slap-up cooked breakfast, lunch, dinner or takeaways. At this time we are unable to host or provide breakfast downstairs or offer use of the kitchen or cooking facilities. Often, and between 630pm-10pm, we are able to offer use of the bright and airy open-plan dining area for guests to eat meals, please enquire for availability when booking. Guests are free to explore and use the garden to relax, drink or eat. There is a washing machine and dryer if required. Secure garage storage is also available for bikes. We are located on a quiet no-through road. June and July 2022: if you require more nights than are show on the calendar please drop a line with your requirements, we may be able to accommodate longer stays. Use of the kitchen available for stays of 3 nights or more. Parking is available for one car on the private drive (plus more free off-street parking available.) You may park here as early as you like on your arrival day and leave your car here for as long as you need on your departure day. Traffic can get very busy at certain times of the day and during events at Hampton Court Palace. Occasionally we can arrange to pick up or drop off guests at a nearby train or bus station. There are lots of bus routes within a 10 minute walk and the train station (zone 6) is a 15 minute walk away. Boats are available to hire on the River Thames or take the cruise boat to Richmond, Kew or beyond. For a small returnable deposit we can usually arrange bikes and kayaks in advance. We leave you in peace and to relax but we are usually home and available to help with any questions or requests, and you can message us anytime whilst you’re in the area. During 3pm-6:30pm the open-plan family kitchen and dining areas are busy, so we ask if you wish to eat downstairs then to do so after around 630pm. Thank you. Hampton Court Palace is a 20 minute amble from us and in 10 minutes you can be at the vibrant and pretty Bridge Road, with its excellent choice of cafes, restaurants and unique shops. Just across Hampton Court Bridge you will find The Mute Swan and The Mitre, both excellent for eating and drinking. There are beautiful stretches of the Thames between Hampton Court Palace and Kingston or in the opposite direction to Walton. Bushy Park and Home Park are within a 20 minute walk and are ideal for exploring, cycling or running. The local high street has a Tesco Metro, a chemist, several cafes and restaurants, gift shops, cash points and general stores. East Molesey is perfectly located to explore leafy Surrey, the surrounding areas and central London. The private driveway is available for your use and you are welcome to park here as early as you like on your arrival day (although check-in is from 3pm) and all day on your departure day. Hampton Court Train station (zone 6) - 10-15 minute walk Train journey - 30 minutes to Waterloo via Surbiton, Wimbledon and Clapham Junction (and other stations) A3 and M3 - 10 minute drive Kingston upon Thames - 5 minute drive or a 45 minute walk. Teddington, Esher, Richmond upon Thames, Wimbledon - all easily accessible (walk, bike, bus, train) Gatwick and Heathrow - 30-40 minute drive with no traffic There are many accessible bus routes. Bikes are sometimes available for use, as is garage space for secure bike storage. We welcome quiet and respectful guests and thank you for treating our home with care. It is expected that guests are out and about during the daytime as we are unable to host during the day. At this time we are unable to offer use of the kitchen cooking facilities. For an additional fee the room can accommodate one extra person on a camp bed. We may also be able to host longer stays and additional nights not shown on the calendar, please enquire.
