"Authentic" - The Old Bakery B and B

We offer a welcoming Bed and Breakfast in The Old Bakery, with a Private Guest Lounge with its own Private Entrance. Our ethos is to ensure your stay is comfortable and relaxing. Whilst our breakfasts are focused on high quality local Derbyshire produce. We are located in the fantastic Peak District Village of Youlgreave. Situated within 5 minutes walk to the stunning Bradford and Lathkil Dales. Chatsworth House is 10minutes away. Nearby to the Towns of Bakewell , Matlock, Buxton, Ashbourne. Guests have their own access door, to their own Private Guest Lounge. They are free to 'come and go', at anytime. Upstairs, Two Twin Rooms are available, with a shared bathroom. Please Note: So as to provide privacy for our Guests. We will only book out one of the rooms if you are the sole occupants, i.e. the other room will not be booked. If you are unsure bout this arrangement, and wish to be re-assured, do please message us. Guests have their own private guest lounge with TV's, DVD,Tea and Coffee making facilities, Fridge. Bedroom and Bathroom with shower, bath, sink and toilet. We always hope to greet our guests upon arrival and speak freely at Breakfast to offer advice about where to visit, walk or eat, within the area of The Peak District National Park. The Village is extremely picturesque, with very friendly people. Totally Safe. There are three Pubs all serving 'Home Cooked' food. There are three shops, providing all provisions one may need. We have extensive knowledge of walking in the area, and so, are able to offer confident advice about where to walk with details of the walks, ensuring picturesque views. Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall, are within walking distance of The Old Bakery B and B. We can offer advice on walking to a number of venues. Equally, there are excellent cycle routes, from the door, into the wonderful Peak District National Park. Wonderful ,empty roads, allow you to travel unhindered to your next destination. (However long it takes, that's all it will take, NO ques!) An hourly bus service runs to Bakewell.(3 miles away), from The Old Bakery Band B. There are also two taxi firms running from the village. Nearest Train station is Matlock (8 miles), a bus service from Matlock brings you to The Old Bakery B and B. Our Guests are free to come and go at anytime. They have the freedom of the Private Guest Lounge, with it's own entrance. We refresh this room regularly.
