Inside, the apartment has been designed for modern living. It is flooded in natural light with a sunny balcony overlooking the neighbourhood below. There is a comfortable sofa and TV replete with Netflix and free Wi-Fi throughout. A small dining table makes it easy to sit down to a meal at home or set up your laptop. The sleek kitchen is fully equipped for all your cooking needs. It comes with a fridge, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher for easy clean-up. In the evenings, retreat to your stylish bedroom. It features a premium queen-sized bed topped with hotel quality linens for a good night’s sleep. There is a large wardrobe for storing your belongings and direct access to the balcony. The bedroom has a sliding door for privacy from the main living space. Immaculately presented, the trendy monochrome bathroom is fitted with a spacious shower, toilet and mirrored vanity stocked with a hair dryer and complimentary amenities for your stay. There is an internal washing machine and iron adding to your everyday convenience. Paid street parking is available off premise. We don’t meet all of our guests in person, but we are always available over the phone or via Airbnb message to help you out or answer your questions. Rich in history and culture with industrial roots, today Collingwood is one of Melbourne’s most sought-after neighbourhoods. It combines quirky cafes, coffee shops and trendy bars with acclaimed restaurants, galleries and lifestyle boutiques. Café favourites include Aunty Peg’s and Smith Street Alimentari, while coffee aficionados should head for Proud Mary and Acoffee. Cibi is worth checking out for its Japanese homewares within a light-filled warehouse space, while The Hub General Store offers a curated collection of unique, functional pieces. Enjoy drinks at notable bars such as Nighthawks and Rupert on Rupert. From Collingwood station you can hop on the train and be in the city centre within minutes. Whilst you may well not need to leave the immediate area whilst you’re in Collingwood, you may want to go further afield. A 5-minute walk from the apartment takes you to a stop for the 86 tram which takes you directly to Melbourne CBD within 10 minutes, tourist hotspots and the main city train stations including Southern Cross Station from where the Skybus from the airport arrives and departs. Taxis and Ubers from the airport cost approximately $45 - $60 and takes approximately 20 minutes. Metered street parking (with no time limit) is available for a maximum rate of $11 per day Monday to Friday from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm and Saturday 7.30 am to 1.30 pm (times outside this are free!) in the P signed areas. We are no longer able to provide lockbox access due to new council rules. Our greeting service team will get in touch after you book to arrange key handover. *Please note there is an additional $30 fee for key handovers after 9 pm* If you are running late to meet our greet person please let us, or the key handler you're in contact with know asap. The meeting time is at your discretion however we will need to charge $20 per hour for late arrival to meet our greet person. *Please note that building lift is currently under maintenance until further notice.
