Fairy tale house in private setting 2-story Tudor home on 2.5 acres. Hardwood trees, winding creek with picturesque bridge in backyard, deck, screened porch, firepit. Large living room w/ vaulted ceiling, grand piano, brick wood-burning fireplace. Spacious kitchen, eco cleansers. Great space for groups to stay/work I have hosted families for graduations and reunions, business school student Shark Tank and true crime documentary film teams, and Italian organic wine producers! - NOT A PARTY HOUSE, NO PARTIES OR EVENTS. No bands staying, no outdoor music after 10pm, no smoking. You will be asked to provide information about individuals staying and your planned use of the property, before confirmation (sorry I have had some bad experiences). - 4 BR: 1 master with queen bed, 2 BR each with full bed, 1 office with 1 twin bed; plus a twin bed/sofa in family room; down duvets - large living room with vaulted ceiling, large masonry wood-burning fireplace - Steinway grand piano - formal dining room with bay window - spacious kitchen with granite countertops & stainless steel appliances - all hardwood floors up and down - all the usual amenities - comfortably furnished family home, can be formal or informal - plenty of parking - surrounding woodland gardens, winding creek with bridge in back yard, 2.54 acres woods; near Duke Forest trails - small soccer field with goal in woods, basketball hoop in driveway, ping-pong table and darts in garage, chess and games in family room - high-speed wireless and wired internet - ecological cleansers/detergents used throughout house The house and woods are yours while you are staying. I move out during your stay but I am always available by text/phone and usually staying nearby in case of need. Stoneridge is a quiet neighborhood with large wooded lots yet close to everything. Hiking in Duke Forest next door. 15 minute drive takes you to Durham or Chapel Hill downtown. No public transportation but plenty of parking! 5 min from I-40 Exit 266, 15 min to UNC or Duke.
