Cosy and secluded place to stay.

A fully private one bedroom flat is available close to the Waikato River and about 15mins from Hamilton central or five from Chartwell. The flat is downstairs to the main house and is semi-independent and private. It has a free carparking available for one vehicle and a shared entrance to the flat. Free WiFi access plus freeview and Netflix TV are available. There are facilities within the flat for making tea or coffee and light meals (microwave, toaster, fridge and hotwater jug). The flat has a garden and gully outlook and guests are free to enjoy the whole property including the gully walks. A small saltwater pool is also available in summer for guests . Hosts are happy to accommodate special needs and requirements e.g. Ironing board and Iron on request. Chartwell is within 15 minutes walk or 5 by car and there is a good local cafe 5 minutes walk away. Riverside walks and parks are very close by. Walking, biking, driving or busing are options for getting about. A half hourly or hourly bus service operates from River Road weekdays with lesser frequency at the weekends. The Hamilton Orbiter leaves from Chartwell more frequently. Covid: Note that we are fully vaccinated and expect our guests to be fully vaccinated also. We aim to be a low carbon sustainable household. Please assist us in maintaining that by attention to water and power use and to waste/recycling.
