Beautiful Madawaska River Cottage

Located on the Madawaska River, this 3-bedroom family owned cottage is beautiful both inside and out. Fully renovated, the cottage provides all the comforts of home with picturesque views. Whether you are sipping coffee in the screened in porch while admiring the Madawaska River, tanning on the large 10X10 dock, or exploring the wooded area of the property, there is something for everyone! Located in the beautiful Madawaska Valley, the property boasts one of the longest shorelines in the area, with 255 feet of waterfront. The swimming area, with sand bottom and areas of both sun and shade, is suited to all ages. If you own or rent a boat, there are miles of boating available along the Madawaska River which connects into many bodies of water, including Kamaniskeg Lake and Blackfish Bay. The 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom cottage has been fully renovated and is a 4-seasons home. Equipped with central air conditioning and heat, it is a beautiful, comfortable space all year-round. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a BBQ located outdoors for your use. The screened in porch with vaulted ceiling is a great place to relax and dive into a good book or play cards on a rainy day. The large yard provides plenty of space for campfires, outdoor games and exploring. In the winter months, this is a perfect place to relax and unwind after a fun-filled day of snowmobiling and winter activities. Our cottage is located just a short-ride away from trail E109. From mid June - mid September, we rent on a weekly basis with check-in on Saturdays at 3 pm and check-out on Saturdays at 10 am. For the remainder of the year we have a 4-night minimum. We are available via cell-phone or email should you have any questions or concerns during your stay. Although we are not located in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we have family members who live year-round in the area and are available in case of emergencies.
