Bayview - Charteris Bay

AMAZING- . When the time is right, maybe a break away in a tranquil spot. Enjoy the views, the relaxing feel by the fire, or relaxing on the deck, just 35 mins from Christchurch centre and you are in sunny Charteris Bay. Amazing sea views, but so private. From the floor to ceiling double glazed windows in the living space you really can watch the tide flow in & out, situated above the Charteris Bay yacht club, the 180 deg view takes in Quail Island & surrounding bays. This holiday home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms & open plan living/dining/kitchen. Two bedrooms are upstairs & 2 down. 3 have queen beds & 1 a single bed.The kitchen has a modern electric oven, great fridge/freezer & all the cutlery & crockery you should need .A barbeque is situated outside. The whole house is available. I live in Christchurch, but am easily contactable if required. Within a short driving distance is the new 4 Square supermarket in Church Bay, that really does stock almost everything you need. Further along to Diamond Harbour there is a carfe/bar or jump on the Ferry to Lyttelton to check out more local sights. For outdoor types, there is Orton Bradley Park with walking tracks, Charteris Bay golf course & tennis courts & several swimming beaches. There is no public transport to or from Charteris Bay, a car will be required. The beach house is at the end of a reasonably steep & narrow drive, but totally manageable and it has a good turn around point at the bottom. CLEAN UP - We ask that guests leave the property in the same way they found it or we offer a cleaning service for $55.
