Owls Loft - cosy getaway with far reaching views

Owls Loft is a self contained cottage with a private outdoor seating area and paddock. In a tranquil, rural setting, with views of the Cheshire Plain, this is a great place to recharge your batteries. It is well located to visit the Peak District, or get the train into Manchester from Macclesfield or Congleton. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy reach , as well as Alton Towers, Chatsworth House, the antique shops of Leek and the pottery towns of Stoke on Trent. Owls Loft has a cosy cottage feel, but is spacious and comfortable. The well equipped kitchen-diner, one of the bedrooms with king sized bed and the shower room are located on the ground floor, whilst upstairs is a sitting room, with comfy sofas and log burner, and a further bedroom, also with king size bed. Outside there is a private patio seating area and you have exclusive access to a small secure paddock where there is a bench located to look out at the view across the Cheshire Plain. You have private access to Owls Loft and the outside patio and Paddock. There is parking for two cars right outside for your use. We live in the house next door to Owl's Loft, so we are available to help you with anything that you need throughout your stay, but most likely you won't see us at all. Owls Loft is situated close to the village of Biddulph Moor in the Staffordshire countryside. We have 2 pubs, a shop with post office, a chemist and a school. We are just a few miles from Congleton or Leek, and any other amenities you may need are available in Biddulph, just down the hill. This is a lovely area for walking, and we are just up the road from Biddulph Grange Gardens and country park. We are approximately 5 miles from Congleton railway Station, or 10 miles from Stoke on Trent or Macclesfield. You really need a car to get here, but the trains can be the most convenient way to get into Manchester if you need to. We provide all bedding and towels. We provide logs, kindling, matches and firelighters for the wood burner. There are televisions in each room, and Sky Q (including Sky Sports) in the sitting room. We provide a selection of coffee pods for the tassimo machine, as well as instant coffee, teabags, sugar and a pint of milk. There is wi-fi throughout the property.
