This beautiful bright space is located on the 1st floor of a 2 storey building. Peaceful and central, 5 to 10 minutes by foot to the center of the city. Ideal for one person or a couple. Composed by a hall, a large living room (kitchen, living, bedroom...) and a bathroom. Elegant and contemporary it has a very nice view on a residential park. Peaceful and central, 5 to 10 minutes (by tram ,bike or foot ) to the center of the city and the old town, 15 Minutes to the railway station and 20 to the airport, 20 min to UN.. Public transport nearby (3 min): bus 11 and tram 15 to Place des Nations (UN and international organizations) tram 12 down town and commercial streets tram 15 Cornavin railway station Free bikes on loan (spring-autumn) nearby (3 min) Ideal for 1 or 2 persons. There is already a double and a single bed. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a Migros and a Coop ( swiss superstores) at 5 minutes and a lot of groceries at 2 minutes by foot and we always leave some basic food (coffee, tea, sugar, salt, oil, vinegar etc... for a start ) We can advise for the surrounding good spots: bars restaurant, bakeries and pastries around and other nice places to discover. Carouge is a historical part of Geneva. Calm and lively at the same time this posh district hosts markets, many shops, restaurants and bars. It is 10 minutes away from the center of Geneva and its numerous theaters, museums, galleries and shopping areas, Independant loft on the first floor with a common entrance at the ground floor. As much or as less as they need. We are glad to meet them and give any information about the area, the town , and the activities. The calm in middle of the town, to cross the river and see how it change daily...been in Carouge which is a pleasant area, the proximity with the center (you can join the very center in 10 minutes by foot), the bistros, cafes, markets, museum and galeries.... The place is about 2, 3 minutes from different public transport (tramway and buses). With the tram 12 you reach the center (odl town and commercial street) in 10 minutes, with the 15 , you are about 12 minutes from the rail station and 15_20 from Place des Nations ( UN). Even sunday, you'll find some grocery open late to get some food and we can advice you for any place to go out or take away for your diner. There are some plants and they need light, so we ask our visitors to open or at least turn the blinds during daytime. They can also ask us to take them away. For medium (on month) to long stay a cleaning service (one hour each two week) is compulsory , for 25chf/hour. If the traveller needs more it can be deal wth us or the cleaning lady.
