Chywartha is a delightful property, split over three levels, with views across Gerrans Bay, towards Gull Rock and Nare Head. It has an enclosed garden for those with dogs or children. The entrance opens into the well equipped kitchen / dining room to the rear of the house with short staircase leading up to two bedrooms and down to a further master double bedroom, WC / shower room and the main living area with sliding door into the garden. With good sized rooms this property is ideally suited to a larger family. From Chywartha it is only a short, five minute walk, down the hill to the pretty little harbour where many artists have taken inspiration due to the superb light and there are a number of delightful little galleries. The Plume of Feathers public house is nestled in the square and serves local ales and good pub grub all year round. Rosevine beach, which is dog friendly all year is just to the east of the village it has beautiful golden sands (at low tide) and is over looked by the increasingly famous Hidden Hut. Before you visit try and get on their social media page and acquire tickets to their special outdoor dining events. Accommodation Entrance Level: The entrance is at the rear of the property, and you enter into a small hallway opposite the staircases leading both up and down. Next to the hall is a large, bright, open plan kitchen dining room with fully fitted kitchen units and a dining table that seats eight: First Floor: The stairs open on to a small landing with doors leading to; a family bathroom with WC and wash hand basin. A twin bedroom with a wardrobe and chest of drawers and sea views across the bay. A larger triple bedroom also with sea views over the bay. Ground Floor: The stairs open into the main living room that has a floor to ceiling glass wall to make the most of the sea views. There are comfortable sofas and chairs, a decorative fireplace, TV with digital Freeview and DVD player, a sliding door leads out into the enclosed garden. At the bottom of the staircase a door leads to a small hall with doors leading to; the master bedroom with sea views, a 5' double bed, chest of drawers and storage cupboard. Also a door leads to a separate shower room with WC and wash hand basin . Exterior: There is parking for 2 cars to the rear of the property and a small enclosed garden to the front with patio and table and chairs - a morning sun trap. Facilities & Services There is an oil central heating system throughout. The kitchen has a range of cupboards & worktops. There is an electric oven and hob, a microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, fridge & freezer. The sitting room has a digital TV & DVD player. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a cot and high chair. There is a washing machine. There is unlimited broadband WiFi. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are included but you will need to provide your own beach towels. There is parking available for 2 cars to the rear - more cars can be parked nearby but not in the cul de sac. Regrettably there is no smoking. A maximum of 2 dogs may stay in the property at a small additional price of £30 per dog per week. Please note dogs can not be left unattended in the property. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday. Short breaks are available during quieter periods. £200 pre-authorised to your credit or debit card as a security deposit is required.
