Our amazing retreat includes an outdoor hot tub, is less than one mile to downtown Grass Valley & four miles to downtown Nevada City. You can enjoy wine tasting, taprooms, art galleries, restaurants, boutiques, hiking & biking. Swim, fish, and play on the Yuba river & too many lakes to list. Relax, dine and play At Paradise Pines, we pride ourselves on cleanliness. Not only is it sparkling clean but every surface and touchpoint is always sanitized between guests. We know that these are trying times and we do our best to make this a safe place for you to retreat. Our mother-In-Law Suite is the entire bottom level of our beautiful split level terraced home. It has a very large living room with a separate large bedroom, king size bed made with high-quality bedding, an additional air mattress available on request, a huge bathroom, spa robes for your use, and a small kitchenette off the bedroom. The kitchenette is stocked with a small convection oven, full-size refrigerator, 2-top burners, pots, pans, microwave, toaster and coffee maker (tea & coffee provided). We also provide plates, cups, cutlery, and glasses. A Large screen T.V. with Amazon and Netflix included is in the living room. Great private, super clean outdoor covered hot tub (adult use only) and enjoy your own private outdoor dining area with a gas BBQ. Dine, Soak, Relax, and enjoy life! Also, please note that due to severe dander allergies we can not host pets in this unit and sincerely appreciate your respect and cooperation. This beautiful retreat has Japanese gardens for you to explore with several fountains, meditation areas and a beautiful hot tub up on the gardens knoll for your enjoyment and relaxation. Please keep in mind that this is a busy road and we have three standard poodles wandering about, make sure the gate is CLOSED AND LATCHED at all time. We live on-premise and may or may not be around. We're always just a phone call away to answer your questions and make sure you have everything you need! The best way to contact use is through the Airbnb messaging system. This ensures the one shift host receives your message promptly. Located directly across from the Penn gate entrance to the Empire Mine State Park, we are less than a mile to downtown historic Grass Valley and only four miles to historic downtown Nevada City. Our location makes getting to and from all the fabulous sites the Gold Country offers super convenient! We are 7/8ths of a mile to the center of historic Grass Valley which has tons of restaurants and shopping. It is a nice walk or bike ride. But generally speaking a car is needed to truly enjoy this area. Very ample private parking, bring your bikes, canoes, boats, or kayaks! Our property has pebbled walkways and steps up and down through our beautiful rolling gardens. I'm sorry but this area is not handicap friendly and should be enjoyed at your own risk. If we accept your request for early check-in and you fail to show by the agreed-upon time, there will be an inconvenience charge of $35.00. Please keep all gates closed at all times. We have three poodles and put their safety first. Moe is very friendly but can sound intimidating until you know him (he is all bark and NO bite). Sophie, Moe's mom is a princess and is all about making new friends and then there is Macy, Macy is a puppy and gets really excited whenever she sees someone new. For many guests, the poodles are the highlight of their stay. Remember, the property is for registered guests only.....
