Crann Gumma Nook, The Nook for short is off grid eco-friendly located on 4 gum studded acres of land. From the verandah you can see for miles. Situated on the outskirts of Auburn, the gate way to the Reisling Trail and Clare Valley. Just a 20-minute walk into Auburn or 5 minute car ride, where you can eat at the award wining Rising Sun Hotel for a meal. Rice's Creek for coffee, breakfast or lunch is even closer. The Nook is accessed via a Key safe box. Property is not disabled friendly Guests have full use of house and land. We have four steps to access the house, once inside the house is single level. There is an unfenced dry dam and the property grounds have uneven and or loose surfaces Due to wildlife and farm land, there are no pets allowed and the property is smoke free. Fire wood will be provided for two nights of stay, if you stay longer please bring your own or it is available in Auburn or Clare. Guests are not permitted to use fallen branches or trees for firewood, and there is to be no open fires on property. We have lizards that visit, however we have yet to see a snake there is a real possibility, so please be mindful when you visit. DO NOT entry Sheds on property Access via a keysafe. We will be available by phone to answer any of your questions. Auburn is a small country town, with a big heart, it was the birthplace of C. J. Dennis. The Riesling bike trail starts in Auburn and heads all the way into Clare, there are many wineries along the way. You can hire a bike in Auburn should you wish. The Nook is perfect for the artist in you or just sit and watch the day go by. There are many walking, cycling and driving scenic routes through the Clare Valley. With Clare township being a 30-minute drive. Just before you get to Clare centre on your left is the Clare Valley Tourist Bureau, who can suggested other activities to pass you time away. Of course there is a winery or four, five ... to visit. Clare has some local tour companies that can arrange a tour for you. Perhaps you could even look at taking a Rolls Royce tour for that special occasion.
