We live in a small part of Fontenay sous bois located in Vincennes . There are two houses on our property. We live in the front house and you will live in the house at the back of the garden. We are separated by a tree filled garden. It is a cosy home for 9 people : 2 bedrooms (with mezzanine, bathroom and dressing) , a landing floor with mezzanine ,a living room with sofa bed , 1 kitchen and a nice garden where you can rest quietly after an exhausting day in Paris. The house has internet wifi. There is also a full equipped kitchen opened to the dining room and living room with siemens electrical appliances and a Liebherr fridge and freezer. You will find cooktop, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, kitchen tool and more upon request . There are 2 bathrooms with italien style walk in showers. Household Linens and towels are included. We are in one of the two very residential streets not far from Downtown Vincennes. with a lot of shops and the renowned rue du midi, full of gourmet shops. We decided to leave our lovely neighborhood in Paris (jardins du Luxembourg) and never regretted it. We live now 100 meters from Paris because the Bois de Vincennes belongs to the Paris'12th arrondissement (district) . It is one of the two green lungs of Paris but with much more interesting things to do like visiting the Chateau de Vincennes (King's castle), the Parc Floral de Paris or the new Parc zoologique de paris. As told us our American friends who came more than 20 times in Paris "you moved from Brooklin to Central park!" (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) meters from the Parc floral de Paris, (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) meters from the Chateau de Vincennes. 6 minutes walk from the subway line 1 (Chateau de Vincennes) and 10 minutes walk from RER A (Eurodisney, châtelet, Arc de triomphe). the RER A is parallel to line 1 and faster but we personally prefer the intimacy of Subway. As your hosts we will receive you and provide all the important information about the city; practical, historical, touristic or any other requested help before and during your stay. Guest will have access to the whole house and a garden, without restriction. It will be a private space, and nobody else will live inside. As your discreet neighbors we may help you in any case. My wife is a physician and our teenagers (english speaking) will be very happy to help you or do babysitting if you want to enjoy the romantic Paris by night... We live in a small part of Fontenay sous bois located in Vincennes . Downtown Vincennes has a lot of shops and the renowned rue du midi, full of gourmet shops. It is one of the nicest town in the East of Paris sticked to the Bois de Vincennes and the 12th district of Paris. 5mn walk to all amenities : shops, cafes & restaurants. Ideally located in one of the most residential street : 6 mn walk to Metro Ligne 1 ' 15 mn to Central Paris), 25 mn to Disneyland Paris (RER A in Vincennes). You are at the end of line 1 Chateau de Vincennes, which is the main subway line in Paris. You have also a big bus station with buses going everywhere and a taxi station close to the subway station. Station free bike sharing Ofo and Mobike are everywhere in the streets with numerous bicycle path from Vincennes to Paris. Check in procedure : We will welcome you directly at the house. At this time our house (not yours!) is covered in white because an artist is restoring our false bricks home front. He is quiet, using manual tools from 10am to 5pm. He is on vacation in July.
