The New Orleans House

This home maintains the charm of the early 1900's and is decorated with a New Orleans flair. All the original detail including hardwood floors, pristine woodwork, beautiful staircase, pocket doors and an expansive front porch. The house is located close to downtown Champaign and just 6 blocks to campus town. Amenities include two cable TVs, internet service, and a keyless coded entry system. House is decorated with original pieces of New Orleans art work throughout. The fenced backyard includes fire pit, picnic table, deck, and grill. Bags game, croquet, and badminton equipment are available. Whole house. I live a few blocks from the house and am always available to greet guests upon arrival. My co-host, Mary Lou, and I are readily available to assist guests any time they have a need. The house is located in a quiet, residential neighborhood, while still being a few blocks from downtown bars, restaurants, and businesses. Campus is less than 1/2 mile away. Both driveway parking and street parking are available, and Uber/Lyft are readily available at all hours day/night. We provide menus for local restaurants, information on activities in the community and at the University.
