Well appointed garden studio in convenient area

Our studio has everything you need for a business or holiday trip - set in a beautiful garden with your own private entrance and parking, you are free to explore all that Brisbane, Gold Coast and historic Ipswich have to offer. With a comfortable queen bed with top quality linen, air conditioning and fan to keep you warm or cold and a fully equipped kitchen to make your own meals. There are numerous restaurants and takeaways within walking distance, as well as a pub and train station. The studio is secluded, and has a queen bed, table with 2 chairs and tv with Netflix and Stan. There is strong nbn wifi. The kitchen has a full stove, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. Milk, sugar, cereals and tea/coffee as well as cooking basics such as olive oil and condiments are all set up for your convenience. The shower and loo has a sliding door and fluffy towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner supplied. Guests have a dedicated onsite carport on the property near the studio. They have exclusive use of the entertainment area with table and chairs, pool table and dart board. The garden is shared and guests are welcome to stroll and enjoy it. Sue who is South African and her Aussie hubby Paul have run a 4-star guest lodge in South Africa and love chatting to guests but totally respect their need for privacy too. Paul’s chef skills can be pre ordered if you would like a home cooked meal too. We have lived in numerous countries including Hong Kong and Sue speaks French as well as Afrikaans and basic Cantonese Goodna is a 35 min train trip into the city to access all that beautiful Brisbane offers, with city cat ferry rides down the Brisbane river, party district of Fortitude Valley and heaps of cultural and historic sites. Gold Coast and theme parks are under an hour away and the Sunshine Coast within an hour and a half’s drive away. The Cecil hotel is at the top of our street with the train station, shopping district with restaurants, Woolworths and take always within 10 min walk The studio is easy to get to, just off the freeway to Ipswich. Getting around is easy - Goodna train station is 10 minutes walk, we have secure onsite parking and taxis & Ubers to get you places. We are 40 mins drive from Brisbane International Airport We welcome little humans and have a single mattress we can add to the studio. A car seat available and toys too. A pet is welcome, depending on their sociability and friendliness to other dogs and cats. Additional pets will be considered. We are happy to give travel advice and to help our guests in getting to places, subject to our availability and at an extra fee
