Mona Vale Country Estate is a modern home with all amenities. With 5 acres of land the property to take your morning walk, this is just what you need for that much needed break away. Just a minute off State Highway 7, in the quaint little village of Waikari, this is the ideal stop to relax on your trip North or South. The property is modern, warm and secure. There is a variety of chickens and fresh free range eggs are available every day. Occasionally there are baby chicks and you may see the peacocks walking through the property and the odd rabbit and don't be surprised if you wake up to a rooster crowing. Beautiful scenery and wineries are nearby with local cafes offering great coffee and food. The Hogget Restaurant and Hurunui Hotel are within 5-10 minutes drive for lunch or evening meals. Hazelnut season is March-May and guests can collect their own and help themselves to free range eggs and fruit in season.
