My cozy 1 bed, 1 bath apartment in the historic center of Tivat can be your oasis during your stay in Montenegro. The apartment is fully furnished, equipped with a small kitchen, and offers an amazing southeast-facing wrap-around terrace with magnificent views of the town's ocean bay, marina, and Lovcen National Park. You'll be steps away from a variety of restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, green market, and bars, and only a few minutes walk from the beach, palm tree-lined promenade, and Porto Montenegro. My property manager Dario, my partner Branka, and I will make sure your stay is safe and comfortable, and will be happy to make local recommendations for items on your wish list. My property manager, Dario and my partner Branka, live and work in Tivat. Branka will meet you upon your arrival at the coffee restaurant Ricoletta, just infront of my building entrance, let you into the apartment, and hand over the keys. Normal check-in time is 11am to 9pm, but if you'll be arriving outside of normal check-in hours, please let me know and we'll do our best to accommodate your arrival plans. She will also meet you on-site on your last day to pick up the keys and say goodbye. Check-out time is noon. If there's anything you need during your stay, just give Dario or Branka a call. Dario and/or his wife Tanja speak little English and will be happy to offer tips and recommendations for your stay in Tivat. You can always write to me and I will give you my best of the recommendations, too, of course! The apartment is located in the center of town, next to plenty of nice coffee bars, restaurants, bakeries, and grocery stores. A post office, bank, the city hall, medical center, and a downtown park are within one or two blocks. The waterfront is less than a 3 minutes walk away. The modern PortoMontenegro is only 5 minutes walk away, too. Tivat is a beautiful very clean multicultural and historic town. Come discover it! Free parking is available on the city streets wherever you can find a spot. Alternatively, you can always pay to park in a garage -- the fees are nominal. Blueline buses run regularly from Tivat to locations in Tivat Bay and Kotor Bay, to Herceg Novi, Budva, and other towns. Taxis can be hailed near the entrance to your building. In case you decide to rent a car, the entire Bay of Kotor is at your disposal. Apart from the rocky/cement beach in Tivat itself, the area, including the whole "Boka Kotorska", Lustica Bay, Risan and Perast Bay, and Plavi Horizonti, offers countless sandy beaches. A variety of stores, a farmer's market, and a bakery are just down the elevator, in the building and right next to it. My place does have wifi, still many restaurants and coffee bars with Wi-Fi are within the immediate vicinity of the building you'll be staying at, and more await less than a 3 minute walk away on the waterfront. The nearby area also sports Porto Montenegro, a brand new modern yacht resort, with breezy pedestrian promenades, shops, bars and restaurants, and a luxe spa at the Regent Hotel. Tivat has wonderful walking and cycling paths, a sports & fitness centrum, a pool and a summer theatre, all very close to the apartment.
