Stone Cycladic house with unique architectural features, rebuild and operate for first time in summer 2018, located in Korthi above Korthi Bay and 8 minutes from famous beach 'to Pidima tis Grias'. Andros is one of the most beautiful undiscoverd islands in Cyclades. Fully equipped house . Ideal for relaxing family holidays.From the house you can enjoy the view of the natural terrain, the traditional village Korthi and the Aegean Pelagus,everything has remained unchanged over time. One of the yard of the house leads to an old olive oil mill. There you can see all the procedure how to collect and use the olives to product virgin olive oil 100 years back.The house except the main bathroom has an external private shower with hot & cold water in the yard, that really you can enjoy. The house is offered for light cooking , has an electric cooker (for spaggeti , eggs etc ), it has also an electric grill but has not an oven . In the yard there is a barbeque (carbon style) The place is also ideal for (wind)surfing, there is a local club and many of the residents engage in this sport. Enjoy free access to the house and all the four yards and terrace. Fully equipped, bed linen and towels, and free internet access. This is a very quiet area, with very few houses around all the same stone Cycladic-island style. The area and ideally the house has an amazing to the Aegean sea view. Renting a car or own transport is strongly advised. A bus can take you to Korthi from Gavrio. Taxis can take you around the island. The Stone-house is a 5-minute drive from the bay, where you can find a super market, pharmacy, ferry ticket agency, postal office, plenty of restaurants with fresh fishes, bars and coffee shops. 2 beaches are located in Korthi bay, and the famous Tis grias to pidima beach is 8 minutes away from the house by car. Chora, the main town of the island and also the main port Gavrio is 30 minutes away. Andros is the first closest island from Rafina Port which is about 30min. by bus from the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport. The trip to Andros (Gavrio Port) has a duration just 2 hours and from there to Korthi is about 35-40min. Andros is very close to other Cycladic islands, such as Mykonos, Tinos , Syros, Paros, for day trips by boat. Andros, except for unique beaches is famous as an island with an ancient history. You can explore two excellent museums of ancient and modern art, monasteries which date from the 9th Century, one old open theater where during summer playing ancient tragedies, manmade footpaths which attract trekkers from all over the world.
