Fula Hut - Coco Oasis Boutique Lodge

Coco Oasis is a newly renovated boutique lodge in the heart of Bakau. The lovely little lodge has six huts and a swimming pool. Each hut has a bedroom with a double bed, a living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom with a toilet and shower, a kitchenette and a terrace on the front of the house with a table and two chairs. There are comfortable sun beds and chairs around the swimming pool to relax. The huts are equipped with a fridge, a kettle and a hair drier. Beds have brand new hotel quality mattresses and all the linen are new. Huts have sheets, towels, soap, shampoo, toilet paper for the guests. Bathrooms have water boilers. Wifi is included. The lodge is located in Bakau, the most developed town in The Gambia. It’s in the heart of the town, just a few hundred meters from the beach opposite of it and around the restaurats, cafes and bars. It is next to the craft market and a less than a kilometer walk to the Cape Point and a crocodile park. There is a five star hotel and many fine restaurants in the area, but also local restaurants and entertainment available. The lodge is situated in the area where there are tourist attractions and locals living, and it offers unique opportunity to experience the best of The Gambia and the both sides of it. It has an easy access to anywhere in The Gambia and there are a lot to do in Bakau. Please remember that Gambia is one of the poorest countries in the world and developing country. The water, electricity and wifi don't work all the time. Also it can be a bit of a shock on the beginning to see the enviroment. The standard of cleaness etc. are not same as in European or the western world's. There are taxis on the street front of the lodge. Also local busses stop there. We offer our guest airport transportation, organize trips in The Gambia and to Fathala Senegal and rent our Jeeps with drivers to our guests for day trips.
