Spacious home with beautiful mountain views

Newly built home, with stunning mountain views, a large deck and backyard. Perfect for a family stay or plenty of room for adult groups. Mullumbimby is an eclectic little town that is close to many other tourist destinations and towns including Byron Bay (15 minutes), Brunswick Heads (10 minutes) and the Gold Coast (30 minutes). We are the closest town to Bluesfest (7.4km's to the festival site), also close to the Splendour In The Grass site (10km's). So stay warm an dry at festival time:) The house is light filled and has great natural air flow. A bright and very comfortable home with all mod cons and comforts, including air conditioning. All rooms have ceiling fans. The mattresses on beds are new and the single beds/mattresses are king singles, so they are very comfortable for an adult. I can also set up a porta cot and floor mattress on request. There is a smart TV in the lounge and master rooms with access to Netflix, Disney Plus, Apple TV & free view viewing. There are three separate outdoor areas. A private deck off the master bedroom looking up into bushland, the back deck which is set up high and takes in the panoramic mountain views of Mount Chincogan and Wollumbin (Mt Warning) and the back yard has another furnished courtyard, grass area and a hammock. So there is plenty of room for all visitors to unwind and relax. The back yard has a trampoline and swings (if wanted), so you can entertain kids easily. The house is pet friendly, for well trained dogs, with a fully fenced yard. You can have a BBQ on either the gas or coal BBQ. Or cook up a feast in the entertainers kitchen and enjoy the open plan living area. There is a separate office space, which is available for use, with desk and chair. I leave essential washing and pantry items for your convenience. The home is lived in permanently, however I take away the personal items for your stay (you may see the odd item in the home to remind you that a family lives here:). Please note that the double garage and walk in robe (in master bedroom) will be locked and not available for use. However two cars can be parked on the driveway, for easy access. The house is at street level from the front, however there are stairs leading down to the backyard from the back deck. Hallways and doorways are wide and easy access. I will be here to meet you on arrival and available to be called on for help and advice at any time during your stay. The amount you wish to call on me for advice is totally up to you. I’m happy to help and happy to not bother you if that is preferred:) The house is in a beautiful neighbourhood in Mullumbimby, there are usually dogs being walked and kids playing in the nearby streets. With fantastic footpaths and walking/riding tracks, it is a family friendly neighbourhood that is safe and comfortable. There is a free for use Tennis court and half Basketball court just down the street, along with an oval and a fantastic kids park too. It is a suburban neighbourhood and we ask that guests respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum after hours. The house is just a 3 minute drive to Mullumbimby town centre, you could even walk or ride easily. We are even closer to the Mullumbimby Farmers Market, held every Friday morning, they are well worth a visit. I'd suggest having a car to day trip around the Byron Shire and Northern Rivers. You can enjoy the beaches, shops and restaurants in Byron Bay just 15 minutes away. Head to the beautiful river or beaches at Brunswick Heads (only 8 minutes away), New Brighton and South Golden (15 minutes). You can explore further afield and hike Mt Warning, or do one of the many bush walks in the area to see wildlife, waterfalls and creeks, in the Byron, Ballina, Tweed or Lismore shires. If you want to skip up to the Gold Coast we are very close at just 30 minutes drive. Or just an hour to all the theme parks (Movie World, Dream World, Wet & Wild, etc).
