Villa Maria's estate is surrounded by small hills and paths that offer many possibilities for walking, running or cycling through nature. As you drive towards Villa Maria, you can see domestic animals (cow, rabbit, dog) eating peacefully and enjoying the sunset in the evening. We can offer you the possibility of tasting domestic food (milk, cheese, eggs) from farms nearby "Villa Maria" (small village "Jasenak") On the property, beside Ville Maria there is a large vineyard, so guests interested in vintage and making wine are welcome to join us during the August and Semptember. In our basement, we offer you a tasting of our wine (Chardonnay, Pinot nero) as well as domestic liqueurs (noodles, cherries) with homemade prosciutto and cheese. At the entrance to the property there is a beautiful ecological orchard with various seasonal fruits (cherries, apples, kiwi, plums, pears), so guests can enjoy in juicy fruit. Guests who love spicy mediterranean herbs are in the right place because the Villa is surrounded with lavender, rosemary, laurel and various aromatic herbs (selenium, parsley, mint, sage). For the guests who wish a recreation we can offer the ability to play tennis and other activities (bowling, darts, pilates ball, orbits, trampoline, swings, badminton on the grass…) If you want to swim, we recommend a place Brela. It is beautiful small city with breathtaking pebble beaches, azure and transparent Adriatic Sea, charming restaurants etc. (it is 30 minutes distance from the Villa by car). For guests who want a bit more adventure we can highly recommend cities Makarska or Split (45 minutes away from the Ville by car) so you can enjoy in large beaches, restaurants, galleries, museums, shops, souvenir shops ... We recommend visit to the historic cities Split, Trogir, Dubrovnik and Omis as well as the National parks: mountain Biokovo, river Krka and Plitvice lakes. "STEĆCI" - These UNESCO protected CISTA VELIKA - CROATIA distance from the villa 5 kilometers (PROTECTED MONUMENTS APPEARED IN 12th CENTURY AND WERE USED UNTIL THE END OF 15th CENTURY. THEY WERE VERY COMMON AMONG...) Blue and Red lake Imotski. Both lakes has some impressive dimensions which actually makes them some of the largest sinkhole lakes in the world. blue lakes (900 meters high).Blue lake there is a walking path, so you can actually walk all the way down, so in the summer the local people swim in the see.And soecial phenomenon whit the blue lake is that it actually dry... Welcome!!! All our guests have access to the whole villa and everything else that is included. Also, family Galić can organize for You trip to Međugorje, place of prayer and reconciliation which is one hour away from Villa. All our guests are shown around the house and left to enjoy their well deserved holiday.
