Give me a home among the Gum Trees: Our lovely little shed/ house is 15 minutes up the Road from the iconic Australia Zoo, 20 Minutes from the beautiful Beaches of the Sunshine Coast, & 20 Minutes away from the stunning views that Maleny and Montville have to offer. Mooloolah Valley is a small town in the Sunshine Coast hinterland, in Queensland, Australia. It is situated 1.5 Hours north of Brisbane on the main railway line from Brisbane with regular services southbound to Brisbane. Located at the rear of the property, with it’s own driveway, is this free standing converted shed house. Set amongst a Fern Gully Backdrop, this Holiday Home is the perfect place to kick back & relax. Owners live on site, but we try to stay out of your way, as much as possible. The Pool & Spa belong to the main residence and are not available for the guests. MOST IMPORTANT: Our sewer system is a holding tank, therefore we appreciate guests having quick showers and being mindful of waste water down drains. i.e Shower, Dishwasher, Kitchen Sink & Toilet. (The old: if it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down) saying applies. Open Plan Kitchen, Dining and Living space, equipped with all essentials needed to prepare those holiday meals & nibbles. Dining setting seats 6 people, plus a highchair for a bub. Lounge area is a comfy space with a large TV with Netflicks available, and a DVD player. We have approximately 250 DVD’s available upon request. The home is equipped with a reverse cycle A/C system, to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. There is also an outdoor fire pit. Fires are not permitted if a local fire ban is in force. Sleeping - Sleeps Up to 5 People, plus a cot for an infant. The bedrooms are small, but cosy. The main bedroom has a queen bed with a small wall mounted smart T.V. Bedside tables and a built in wardrobe. The 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with a double on the bottom & single on the top. Small mounted Smart TV on the wall. A cot with change table or a port-a-cot is also available. A stroller is available upon request. The property is equipped with: Bedding/Quilts/ Pillows/ Hairdryer & a Straightener Towels/ Beach Towels. There is no smoking in any indoor area, or near the parrot aviaries. Relax on the front verandah, A BBQ is provided. Back-yard baby swing/toys Fenced on all 4 sides , with additional pool fencing surrounding the immediate shouse Parking in front of the shouse - Simply drive down the driveway and use the pin pad to open the gates. Pin Code will be given on the day of arrival. PLEASE NOTE: THIS IS NOT A PARTY House!!! Loud Music and loud talking/yelling will not be tolerated. We have neighbours and we wish to keep the peace. Yes, sometimes our neighbours can get loud, but that is their right as home owners. Only checked in guests are allowed on site!! This is our home, so we have a right to know who is at our property. Please respect this request. Any unchecked guests WILL be asked to leave, unless prior permission has been sought & granted. If you have friends coming to pick you up, please advise them to park in the driveway, NOT OUT THE FRONT OR ON OUR GRASS. *Important Information: There is a Cleaning Fee of $100.00 If the property is not left up to standard then a further deduction will be taken from the security deposit. It is advised, when departing the property to please leave the keys on the hook inside the door. The hostess will lock up. Guest can access all of the area, down the back ONLY - other than: The Dungeon, Work Shop (Vault) and Pool pump Room. Guests are not permitted to enter any bird aviaries without the owner present and giving permission. The pool and spa belong to the main residence and are for the owners personal use only. As we live onsite (in the main house) I will be available, to assist guests with any questions they may have in relation to the accommodation and the local area. Recommendations of good tourits spots and beaches. The dwelling is situated in a residential area and therefore respect for the neighbours is of the utmost importance. Mooloolah Valley is a small hinterland township with a lot of charachter. We are situated on the Nambour to Brisbane train line. Pool & Spa are off limit to the guests.
