The Cow Shed

The Cow Shed is a bright and airy one bedroom holiday cottage/annex. It boasts a private entrance, hall, double bedroom, luxury shower room and comfortable loft living area with fitted kitchenette. The Cow Shed is set on a small farm with horses, chickens and goats alongside the river Frome. The cottage is great as a base to explore the area. We are a stones throw from the local attractions of Longleat, Stourhead, Alfred’s Tower, Cheddar and Glastonbury. The Cow Shed is a converted barn on what was originally a dairy farm. The farm is now home to horses, Anglo Nubian goats, chickens and our lovely yard cats. The property has been recently renovated and provides a clean and comfortable base from which to explore Frome and the surrounding Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset countryside. The cottage is centrally heated in winter and also has a electric wood burner-effect stove in the loft room. There is ample parking in the car park by the house. We also have a small garden area just for The Cow Shed with garden table and chairs and barbecue. Well located for visiting: Longleat Stourhead Frome Glastonbury Bath Cheddar Stonehenge Check in is after 3pm on day of arrival and check out is by 10am on departure day. The property is self catering and there are 2 main supermarkets in Frome. There is also a lovely pub in the village.
