Cabin in the Garden

Welcome to our cosy Cabin in the Garden. We are in a great location near to Southampton, Portsmouth, and the New Forest. Ten minutes to Southampton airport and rail routes into London or out to Southampton Central, Whiteley and NATS, Fareham and Portsmouth. Our cabin is perfect for a few nights retreat. There are plenty of local eats, pubs and walks. The river Hamble is close by, the Jolly Sailor Pub, and pocket villages as well as being on a direct line to Waterloo. We love our cosy Cabin in the Garden. The wifi is excellent and there is desk space should you wish to work. The cabin is open plan with a designated bedroom area (king size comfortable bed, deep filled mattress and memory foam topper. Duck feather filled duvet in the winter and light tog duvet for the summer). There is also a lounge area separated by a small step. The shower room is light and lovely. The show has a slide door the full length of the bathroom. The kitchenette is well equipped with toaster, kettle and fridge. Simple breakfast will be provided; brioches, granola, yogurt, milk, teas and ground coffee. The heating is very efficient in the winter and it is light and airy in the summer. There is also a chiminea and outside seating in our garden which you are welcome to use. Parking is in the public parking spaces in the square outside our house, please be considerate to our neighbours. There are many restaurants near by to walk to; from pub food to more formal dining. Also, a short drive away, there are river restaurants (The Jolly Sailor, Bistro 8, The Osbourne View) and sea views. Around 30/40 mins drive away from Bournemouth beaches and the New Forest, it’s also only 20 mins to Paultons Park, Winchester, the South Downs and Mottisfont House. Our cabin is a perfect location for events at the Ageas Bowl being only 5 mins drive away. You would be welcome to use our laundary facilities and cooking facilities in the house by arrangement. There is side access to the main house and the key for the cabin are accessible from a lock box attached to the shed. Self check in is available. The code will be give to you 3 days before. Our children are all over 12 and are very used to our guests. They (and we) will respect your privacy and will take our cue from you as to the level of interaction you wish for. All surfaces will be bleached and thoroughly cleaned through between guests. Please only consider booking if you have had no contact with anyone from an infected area. Many thanks The garden is a shared space with our family. You may use our laundry facilities and cooking facilities in the house by arrangement also. Interaction is based on what the customer requires. Hedge End village is a small village with a pub and local shops. The nearby shopping village is a short car journey (5 mins) and has many large shopping facilities M and S, Tkmax, Sainsbury's, Bradbeers, Smyths, B and Q, Homebase, Next, Starbucks, Costa and many more. The Ageas Bowl is nearby and The Hampshire Lawn and Tennis Club. WALK - We are located centrally in Hedge End village, Botley Village is a mile walk. Hamble River and countryside are all easily accessable. CAR - We have easy access to M27 and M3 BUS - In Hedge End village there are excellent bus routes into Southampton and Eastleigh, and to the station. RAIL - From Hedge End rail station there are excellent links to Waterloo, Winchester, Eastleigh (and Southampton Airport) Portsmouth, Fareham and into Southampton Central. FLIGHT - There are many direct flight from Southampton (Southampton Airport is 10 mins drive away and one stop rail) and Bournemouth.
