Historic family house - 10 persons

We feel so privileged to be able to live in our house that used to be a lovely hotel/café in the early 1900s. When we are travelling ourselves, we like other people to enjoy it as well. Also the village, near Amsterdam, with its water, beach & trees. That our house used to be hotel/café is something that you can still feel; the high ceilings, the architecture, the huge windows with the marvellous view on the park. After a full renovation it is now a wonderful and warm family house. Even two families easily fit in as there are 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms available. The living room at the ground floor is also very spatious, it has a fully equipped kitchen, a large dining table, sofa, t.v. and wifi. Our house is on 5 minutes walking distance from the beach - where you can also enjoy watersports and hire little sailing boats, surf- and supboards and canoes. There is also a nice restaurant on the beach with a playing garden for kids. Also close (3 minutes walk) is where you can buy all you need for your groceries; a bakery, butchery, greengrocer with cheese & wine and also a supermarket. Also two nice restaurant can be found there. The park with beautiful old trees you enter right from the garden. A nice place for children to play. On the other side of the house, there is the entry to the forest. Also good to know, the centre of Amsterdam is only a 15-20 minute drive away. The whole house is available for our guests. We offer our beloved house to other people when we are travelling ourselves. But we plan it in such a way that we welcome our guests ourselves so we can explain how things work in the house, but also to share tips and tricks in our neighbourhood. Furthermore, we are available by phone during the stay of our guests.
