River cottage completely remodeled in 2019. Fabulous views of the Ohio River. Right across from Historic Madison, IN. Short walk or drive (across Madison/ Milton bridge) to shopping, dining, festivals and live music. Great place for water lovers, boaters. Spacious outdoor shelter is great for gathering, fabulous views and includes plenty of seating, kitchen area and propane grill. Fire pit and deck with steps to access the river bank. Lots of outdoor space right on the water. Plenty of room for outdoor games. Boat dock and fully remodeled interior. Please don’t encroach on neighboring property. Life preservers are NOT available and it is NOT recommended to swim in the river. Guest may use shelter, firepit and grill. Other supply items and refrigerator items are not for guest use. Self check in. Always available by phone or text. Will always let guests know if we need to come to the property for any reason such as mowing, etc. Directly across from historic Madison, IN and near the bridge. There are 2 dollar stores (one in Milton and one in Madison) that are approx. 2 miles away. Kroger/Wm approx. 6 mi away. There is an easement on the west side driveway. Please allow room for the neighbors to access parking. Can take car or taxi to get around. The Madison/Milton Bridge also has a nice pedestrian walkway to Madison. There are also occasional Uber drivers. 2 bedrooms, one with queen bed the other with 2 twin beds that can easily be joined to make a king. There is a small loft accessible by ladder with queen air mattress. Living room sofa folds to full bed. Porch sofa folds to twin. Has all common house hold amenities (microwave, toaster, blender). Coffee maker is a Keurig. Coffee is generally not supplied.
