Country cottage 10min from Faro & the Beach

Recently renovated, Casa da Eira is a typical Algarve terrace house set in the countryside but close to everything. Located near the National Park of Ria Formosa, it’s just a stone’s throw away from the city of Faro, 10min drive from the beach and the airport. It's countryside right by the city, making rural life very convenient and accessible. Ideal for couples or families with plenty of outside area, a vegetable garden and fruit trees you can help yourself to. This self-contained two double bedroom house has one bathroom and a large terrace to enjoy the sunshine in privacy. It also has a dedicated seating area in front of the house. It’s fully furnished and includes all amenities. The kitchen is fully equipped and high-speed WiFi internet access is available. The accommodation sleeps up to 5-6 guests, making it ideal for family vacations or holidays with friends. The two bedrooms have one double bed each and the living room has a sofa bed, also double. The standard night rate is for 1-2 people taking up 1 bedroom, any extra person will be 15€/night. Casa da Eira country lodge is within Quinta Madeira, a 2ha smallholding that has been in our family for more than 100 years. It used to be a citrus orchard and today we’re working it towards new beginnings. But there are still plenty of oranges for a delicious freshly squeezed orange juice, just help yourself. You’ll find a few remnants of times gone by, the old well with a manual engine once pulled by a cow, the cistern that irrigated the orchard and other farm buildings. The owners (my parents) live in another house within the farm. They’re always available to assist you but will also leave you to your own devices as much as you prefer. Their English is a bit rusty, so please bear with them and and I will always be on call and more than happy to help you have a great stay in the Algarve. We advise you to hire a car to take advantage of the all the fabulous surrounding attractions the area has to offer, from historical cities, mountain hiking or island beaches. We also have bikes you can use to explore the area.
